Energy Infrastructure Assurance Advisory Group
The Energy Infrastructure Assurance Advisory Group one of the nine sector groups in the Trusted Information Sharing Network for Critical Infrastructure Protection.
Members of the group work together, sharing information on issues relating to generic threats and vulnerabilities associated with the energy sector.
Among the issues the group is currently considering are:
- interdependencies between the energy sector and other sectors involved in the Critical Infrastructure Protection Modelling and Analysis Program.
- tasking the Critical Infrastructure Protection Modelling and Analysis Program with activities that will meet the the energy industry’s needs
- reviewing and implementating the group’s communications strategy.
- the interaction between energy companies and emergency services, and
- the exchange of information on industry experiences relating to perimeter and physical security.
