Transport Infrastructure Assurance Advisory Group
The transport segment of the Trusted Information Sharing Network comprises groups for the aviation, maritime and surface transport sectors.
These groups help the owners and operators of critical infrastructure share information on issues about generic threats to, and vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure in the transport industry and appropriate measures and strategies to mitigate risk.
The focus is on preventive measures and extends to the discussion and sharing of information about dependence and interdependence with other sectors.
The sharing of such information can help improve security. This is not intended to limit participants from taking part in other arrangements and discussions regarding critical infrastructure protection.
